Our Private Practice Philosophy: Led by Faith and Clinical Ethics rather than insurer demands

At Way Maker Behavioral Health, we offer a patient-first model, intentionally bypassing insurance networks to deliver soulful, deep-seated support for youth and their families.

Corporate health plans frequently restrict how we treat your loved ones. High patient loads and time limits often dictate care rather than patient needs. By choosing to stay independent of these networks, our clinic focuses purely on the well-being of the individual, ensuring your child receives the undivided attention and scripturally-grounded guidance they deserve without external interference.

This approach provides us with the ability to:

  •  Devote significant time to every family interaction.
  •  Prioritize deep, meaningful healing over fast-paced clinical quotas.
  • Ensure maximum confidentiality by keeping sensitive medical data out of massive insurance databases.
  • Make clinical decisions based on medical evidence rather than administrative constraints.
  • Provide agile scheduling and creative therapeutic solutions that fit your life.
  • Foster a tight-knit communal atmosphere where every family is recognized, heard, and supported personally.

While we operate independently, we help you navigate reimbursement by issuing superbills for your provider. Visit us at 1200 Ella St., Anderson, SC 29621 to experience a higher standard of psychiatric care where integrity and compassion lead the way. We stand firm in the belief that mental wellness should be dictated by what is right for the child, not by the financial interests of large insurance corporations.
